public class UICSqueezedTextLabel
extends JLabel

A text label that will show a full text-label, but use space smartly when it can not. For long paths and other variable texts this widget will show the text beginning and end with points in between to notify the user that not all text fits.

usability research has shown that the last part and the first part of a label are more important when the choice to hide some text has to be made, so we cut it in the middle of the text and provide a tooltip for the full text.
